In 2023 after years of success, the Papakura/Franklin franchise of G.J. Gardner Homes was split into two businesses to better serve their customers, creating Papakura and Franklin. Owned and operated by Nick and Len, the Papakura team looks forward to continue providing the community they love with quality and affordable homes.

Nick and Len are excited to take on the Papakura franchise after spending many years in the construction industry. Len has over 15 years in the industry, including previously owning his own business and building resorts and hotels in Africa. Nick has been part of the GJ’s team for over 11 years, starting as an accountant in the business he has a passion for the industry being a keen property developer in the area himself.

Both Len and Nick are proud to build in the area they call home, and enjoy spending time in the local community with Len being an avid supporter and coach of local sports teams.

From March 1st 2012 changes to the Building Act 2004 mean that building work of homes affecting the structure or water envelope (as when building new homes), will be classified as Restricted Building Work and is required to be carried out by competent, appropriately licensed building practitioners.
