Nathan and Alex are the new heads at the great lake
G.J.’s Taupo franchise has seen two new owners take over in the New Year. Two of our own have taken over the reigns in the Central Plateau, Head Offices Systems Manger Nathan Sterling is now the co owner of the franchise along with Wanganui owner Alex Sigley. They have formed ANS Construction LTD together and are beginning to take the Taupo franchise into new territory.
Before moving to the great lake Nathan worked at G.J. Gardner’s Head Office for 4 years, and was in charge of training staff and supporting the entire G.J. group with their systems use. A challenging role for even a seasoned I.T. professional, Nathan has relished his time working under the Managing Director and being able to influence the way the entire G.J. group use their systems.“I like how successful G.J.’s have become - I mean how else have we built so many great houses and become NZ’s biggest builder. I also have OCD tendencies so I really like the systemical structured aspect of the business” say Nathan.
Alex who has been running the G.J. franchise in Wanganui since 2007 is looking forward to the new challenge of extending his business into the Taupo region and can't wait to begin this journey along with Nathan.
Nathan now enjoys his new lifestyle in his home town of Taupo and the sunny and adventurous environment bodes well for the new franchisee, who enjoys mountain biking around the lake and exploring the regions many national parks.
When it comes to his work Nathan and Alex have lofty goals for their new franchise, they want to make a real and noticeable difference within the community. To one day be able to build a house for charity like many other G.J. franchises have, is a real goal that they wish to achieve in the future. With their can-do attitude we know first hand, that this new team is capable to doing anything they set their minds to.
Together the new Taupo owners along with their dedicated staff look forward to building amazing homes in one of the most beautiful regions in the country. 2017 is will be a busy year for the entire team and we wish them all the best.
